INTERVENTION

As for hospitalization, hospitalization is only recommended for work under general anesthesia in the case of otoplasty for the correction of protruding ears. For lobuloplasty or faun's ear correction it can be performed in consultation under local anesthesia. The duration of the intervention will depend on the complication and will vary between 30 minutes and 1 hour and a half. As for the suture and the consequent scar, it is imperceptible since it is located behind the ear and taking advantage of natural skin folds.

POST-OPERATORY

Seven days after surgery the stitches will be removed. The recovery reaches a maximum of two weeks in the most severe cases, which is when the stitches are removed. The definitive result can be evaluated after that time, when the tissues have settled. The patient will be able to return to his normal routine after one week. However, you must wait a month, for sporting activity.
