Lip augmentation is a minimally invasive technique in which hyaluronic acid is injected to moisturize, increase its thickness, correct or mark the outline and lift the corners of the lips.
Lips can also be moisturized without augmentation, simply marking the outline in a natural way, restoring color and refining small wrinkles. It should be noted that hyaluronic acid is a substance that can be absorbed by the body, so the effects gradually diminish. The result can be seen for up to 12 months. It does not produce adverse effects.

Depending on the product used and its absorption time, but generally these types of fillers can last between 4 and 6 months.
How long does swelling last after a lip filler?

Is lip augmentation painful?
Like everything else, it depends on the patient's pain threshold. But it is not really a painful treatment. If necessary, we prepare the patient with an anesthetic cream that is applied minutes before the treatment.
